Forgive & Forget

Oscar Wilde once wrote, "Children begin by loving their parents; after a time they judge them; rarely, if ever, do they forgive them."  Indeed, too many of us walk through life resenting our parents for the mistakes they made.

But as adults, we must realize that children do not come with an instruction manual.  Odds are your parents did the best job they could in the era in which they lived and with the resources available to them.  Blaming your parents for your shortcomings will not help you overcome them.  Instead, find solace in the good family memories you do have.
