Lies obviously undermine the success of any relationship. Even little white lies can damage your relationships because they chip away at your credibility.
As businessman Joseph Sugarman wrote, "Each time you are honest and conduct yourself with honesty, a success force will drive you toward greater success. Each time you lie, even with a little white lie, there are strong force oysgubg you toward failure."
When you enter into a relationship, you make an unspoken promise to be truthful and trustworthy. Breaking that deal damages both individuals and the relationship.
